Funding Officer - Fixed Term until 2021
The Funding Officer will work with the Community and Support Services Manager to identify new projects and services which offer support to WSHA tenants and communities. The Funding Officer will work within a planned programme to create high-quality written applications to raise external funding for Willowacre Trust and WSHA.
The Funding Officer will work within the Community and Support Services Team.
The post holder will work directly with the Community and Support Services Manager to identify external funding opportunities which align with the priorities identified within our Supporting Communities Strategy.
The Funding Officer will be supported by the Community and Support Services Manager. The post holder will play a key role in the maximising the leverage of external funding to improve services which impact on tenancy sustainment.
The Funding Officer will have a proven track record of experience working in fundraising, including the preparation of funding applications for trusts, foundations or businesses.
The following list is typical of the level of duties which the post holder is expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar type and level will be expected.
The post holder will be responsible for a combination of the objectives described below dependent upon the requirements of the business.
