Dr Tony Williams was voted in as the Chair of West of Scotland Housing Association on 27 October 2009.  Tony has been a member of the Association’s Management Committee since 2004.  He is a former University Academic (Microbiology) and spent 24 years as a professional charity fundraiser which included: Director of Fundraising and Public Relations for Quarriers from 1995-2002 and Chair of the Institute of Fundraising Scotland 1999-2001.

Management Committee

The Management Committee decides the policy and direction of the Association.   It is made up of volunteers and we have a mix of tenants and others who have specialist knowledge that they can bring to the Association.  This mix ensures we are clear about our tenants priorities and have the technical knowledge to achieve them.

The Management Committee is elected from among the members and there are 15 places on the Committee. If you want to become a member of the Association, please click here to get an application form.  We are particularly keen to encourage our tenants to become members of the Association.
