Factoring Service

West of Scotland Housing Association issues factoring invoices twice a year, at 30th March and 30th September.

Those owners who are included in the Association’s Full Factoring Service (insured under the Association’s Block Policy for Buildings Insurance) will be invoiced as follows:

April

Buildings Insurance (full year in advance) 
Management Fee (half year in arrears)
Common repairs/maintenance completed since previous invoice 
Communal electricity (if applicable) 
Communal window cleaning ( in arrears if applicable)

October

Management Fee (half year in  arrears ) 
Common repairs/maintenance completed since previous invoice 
Communal electricity (if applicable) 
Grass cutting of communal areas  (in arrears)

Sharing Owners

Sharing owners pay their Buildings Insurance and  share of ground maintenence (if applicable) as part of their occupancy payment and are therefore only invoiced for their share of common repairs and maintenance  plus a slightly reduced management fee.


Other Owners

All other owners (those not insured under the Association’s Block Policy for Buildings Insurance) will be invoiced as follows:

Ground maintenence since last invoice 
Management Fee

October

Common repairs/maintenance completed since previous invoice 
Ground maintenance since last invoice
