Getting Involved

The Association is committed to involving tenants in making the decisions that affect them and their communities.  We recognise that people may prefer to get involved in different issues and at different levels.  We provide a range of ways that tenants can get involved as this gives them more opportunities to influence the policies that affect them, the decisions made about their areas, their communities and the services they receive as individuals.

Our Policy has three broad objectives:

  1. Getting tenants involved in policy decisions.
By encouraging tenants to become members of our committee structure so that tenants are embedded into policy making.

  2. Gathering tenants’ views about the services they receive.
By making better use of the feedback we receive from surveying tenants who have used a service to get their views on how they would like to see it improved

  3. Encouraging all tenants to have their say.
To make it easier for those tenants that are less likely to get involved with the Association.
